This is my version of "Anita, La Hija Del Verdugo" (The Executioner's Daughter). It is a comic book character created by Juan Bobillo, Marcelo Sosa, Gabriel Bobillo and Nestor Pereyra around the year 2000 for an Argentinian publishing house.

I really loved the comic when it was published back then, and I've always wanted to do my own version of her (as you can tell from the last picture). I tried to stay close to the original design though, adding just a couple of baby vampire heads that didn't appear in the original comic, trying to imagine what could have been another chapter in her story.

I've been working on it on and off for a long time and finally decided to take the time to finish it once and for all. It's all sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Blender Cycles.

I would like to dedicate this piece to Marcelo Sosa, inker in Anita, but moreover an amazing illustrator who sadly passed away this year. I haven't had the opportunity to meet him personally, but I have always admired his work.

Hope you like it, and thanks for passing by :)
